Our Story

Carrie Ash_edited_edited_edited.jpg

Ash and Carrie Beth who were originally bee farmers sold honey and hive products at outdoor farmers markets. Honey and other products began melting in the heat, so they created the concept of an indoor farmers market. In 2020, they led efforts to change Oklahoma legislation, organizing petitions, and gaining media attention to allow indoor farmers market to legally operate in the state. Their advocacy helped the bill pass with a unanimous vote, making Farm Hippie the first indoor farmers market. Today, Farm Hippie supports 180+ local vendors — selling produce, baked goods, honey, handmade goods and natural products. Farm Hippie has three locations which include, Collinsville, Claremore and Bartlesville. Today the brand also hosts community events such as seed swaps, honey tastings, and educational gatherings that connect consumers with local agriculture.
